Chainway Intelligent RFID Readers Applied in Jewelry Management

Jewelry retail is different from other retail in that it has more security requirements for its management due to its higher value, so Jewelry retail management is more elaborate. Chainway takes into account the real problems faced by jewelry retail stores, breaking through the pains and difficulties in actual management to providing jewelry retailers with safe, efficient and intelligent RFID smart solutions, which easily improves jewelry retail management, improves store level and service level, and provides more convenience for shop owners and customers.

As a simple application of RFID smart readers, Chainway can easily monitor and protect the whole process from the entry of jewelry to the storefront through RFID technology. The implementation of the entire program is also quite simple and easy to deploy. Real-time access to each jewelry electronic tag information can be realized, and the analysis of the jewelry status can be determined by analyzing the information of the tag, such as distance, time and other information. , or it is convenient and efficient to carry out other operations management.

The RFID technology with the strong penetrating ability is contact-free, and read multi-label simultaneously. It can also help enterprises to quickly complete the inventory operation, greatly reduce the manpower and time investment of enterprises in inventory, and improve Management efficiency.

Jewelry anti-theft application

According to the actual situation of the site, RFID antennas are arranged in various display areas such as the original showcase, display tray and display stand of the store. For example, employees need to put the jewelry in the display tray for customers to watch. The jewelry can be taken out from the RFID smart display cabinet and placed in the RFID smart display tray for one minute display. Before the piece of jewelry is placed back in the smart display case, the antenna installed in the center of the smart display tray will monitor the tray. Once the jewels leave the safe range, an alarm is triggered to alert central managers, showcase staff and security guards to immediate attention to the problematic area.

Application in sales, transfer, delivery or safe replenishment

If the operation is not carried out according to the normal procedures set in advance, the jewelry label or the employee's work card is not registered in the corresponding RFID intelligent management link, then any abnormal jewelry processing will trigger an alarm.

Application in business closing stock-taking

The staff firstly placed each piece of jewelry on the smart inventory table equipped with RFID devices, and the RFID device automatically recognizes the specific quantity and condition of each piece of jewelry. Each piece of jewelry that completes the registration record is placed by the clerk. The system ensures that the goods have been returned to the safe box through a dedicated RFID smart antenna installed in front of the safe door. It confirms that the jewelry transfer has been completed before the safe door is closed and the system is cut. At the same time, employees of specific operations should also brush their own employee cards to ensure that the responsibility is implemented.

Application in jewelry display

The LED display screen is deployed near the counter. When the jewelry is displayed to the customer, the related details of the jewelry, such as “style, origin, designer, weight, material, purity, grade”, are displayed on the system screen, which enhances brand image. It will help sales staff to extract more energy to provide better value-added services, promote sales, and bring a relaxed and secure shopping atmosphere.

Application in jewelry settlement

When the jewelry product is settled by the customer, the staff will identify the label via the integrated reader/writer configured at the checkout counter, and the computer will display the information related to the product, and prompt the customer to spend the amount. Upon completion of the transaction, the staff member confirms the completion of the sale on the computer, then the central server marks the item as sold in the database. Meanwhile, the counter RFID device will no longer maintain the monitoring of the device.
